⚖️ Resolvr ⚖️ - Week 5: Showing off the Goods
Resolvr is a decentralized bounty marketplace for the #FOSS community.
Working Demos and Feedback
At the end of the team’s all-hands call on Monday, we used the Resolvr bounty board to post, apply for, and pay out a bounty. The process took less than a minute:
<iframe class="remirror-iframe remirror-iframe-youtube" src="https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/ItbErNCRvyQ?" data-embed-type="youtube" allowfullscreen="true" frameborder="0"></iframe>Peer-to-peer bounties over nostr and lighting!
Two of our team then demoed this bounty-board experience at Miami BitDev’s Socratic Seminar, where we received constructive and insightful feedback on the architecture, design, and incentives. And a non-developer entrepreneur expressed interest in using Resolvr to find developers to help build a unique bitcoin-native app tailored to his business. This reaffirmed our thesis that an open bounty marketplace with built-in review panels will empower nontechnical and small donors, decentralizing the open-source funding process.
And, finally, we sought and received feedback on the project on Stacker.News with a post highlighting the need for a bounty marketplace that can't steal bounties and won't charge exorbitant fees!
We want more input! Tune in to the next all-hands call to see our progress and chat with us. (11/06/23 @ 1:00pm ET)
In the next week we’ll be grinding hard to launch the bounty-board feature of our project for public use. So sign up here to get notified first!
And get your bounties ready!
