#Ai4ALL is ending soon... Write your pitches!!!
You have just over 24 hours, project submissions close at August 1 @ 23:59 UTC sharp!
On Tuesday (August 1) @ 23:59 UTC, project submissions will officially close, and judges will begin their evaluation process - announcing winners for each track a few days later. Here is what you’ll need to do to successfully submit your project and maximise impact with the judges…
Enter your project
-
Enter your project: All projects entered into the tournament via the portal will be evaluated by our panel of judges for each track. If you haven’t already, you can enter your project here. Make sure to do before midnight UTC on Tuesday!
-
Add project + maker details: Judges will be reviewing the project pages as well as your maker profiles (to learn more about the people behind all these cool things being built).
-
Replit Link: If you have your project running in Replit, add a link to your project page
Pitch it to the judges!
Pitch your project and maximise your impact with the judges. Make it easy for the judges to learn about your project by writing up one final story in the form of a “pitch”. This should include details like:
-
What is your project? What problems is it looking to solve?
-
Who built it (team) and how? What specs, languages, and tools did you use?
-
What are the next steps on your project’s roadmap?
-
Quick links to your product, website, demo, #BuildInPublic stories, etc.
-
Include a short 5-minute video pitch (required) of your project (this could be a demo, explanation, or even a recording of your pitch to investors). Make it simple and easy to understand. You can Loom or upload to Youtube or some other video hosting provider.
-
Make sure you select your hackathon project so the pitch is attached to it before posting.
Check out this pitch as a good example to follow.
OPTIONAL: You can also host your project on Replit so judges can view the code and run it easily
Consider hosting your project on Replit. This will allow the judges to thoroughly review your code in action. The judging process requires significant effort, and to make it smoother, consider taking advantage of Replit’s platform. For guidance, you can also watch Kody’s video and example below.
Video walkthrough of running your project on Replit
If you use Replit, your project will run as expected in a reproducible environment, ensuring that the judges can experience your work exactly as you intended. Moreover, if your project is built for the web, Replit provides a public link that allows easy access for the judges to explore your work.
Judging Criteria
As a reminder, here is the judging criteria that projects will be assessed by.
