Over the past 2 months we’ve seen 235 makers take part in building 68 projects on Bitcoin and Lightning, battling it out to become this year’s Legend of Lightning .
We have been blown away by the quality of projects entered into the tournament, as well as the maker community’s positive and engaging attitude towards building in public. A big thank you to everyone who has taken part so far!
What happens next?
Now that the project entries have closed, the judges will spend the next few days evaluating and scoring. Tomorrow, on 12th of December , judges will receive a “Score Card” to evaluate the top 21 projects .
On December 15th , the judges will select 10 finalists and invite them for the Closing Ceremony.
On December 17th , we will host a Closing Ceremony livestream, giving founders a chance to re-pitch their projects live to the world! Our judges will then rescore the projects and announce the winners on the same day.
Until the final’s day, you are allowed to continue working on your projects and fixing bugs and finesses if needed, and if you enter the finals, feel free to share an updated version in the livestream.
What happens if my project doesn’t get through to the finals?
Unfortunately, not all projects can continue to the tournament finals. However, that doesn’t mean it’s the end of the road for you. If you’ve enjoyed the experience and are looking to continue accelerating your project, we urge you to do just that.
If you need any kind of advising related to your projects, making process or #BuildingInPublic, BOLT.FUN team is always here to support you and hand out useful information.
During the course of these 2 months, we had some amazing livestreams and interviews that can be very insightful for your current and future goals!
Check them out on our YouTube channel!
Good luck to every maker involved, you all rock!
