Starting user testing sessions!💪
Hello there lovely Makers!
The team is finally completely reunited in the HUB21 office! These viruses spreading around were stopping us from being in the same workspace but we're finally back on our feet 100%.
We decided to do user testing videos via Loom for your projects and works in progress, because we know how much feedback is important to every one of us.
Today we surprised Lana, our amazing designer with a task to do a user testing video! As a designer, she got used to people testing and reviewing her work, so she was lost in the beginning with switching the positions, but it's important for everyone to get outside our comfort zones sometimes and reverse the roles in order to have a better understanding with the other side.
Johns was there to help her out and explain that silly first impressions and getting lost in someone's project is not a sign of bad user testing, but an honestly useful one, because without staging and preparing before filming the video gives us the chance to see the real impression of an uninformed user combing trough the project for the first time. Some features and options makes a lot of sense for the person who made them, but it's important to see it trough the new set of eyes as well.
We're as well learning something new every day!
So post about your projects frequently and we'll be here to test them and give some useful advices and maybe win some prizes at the end of January's Maker Awards!
Stay tuned for some sweet new updates and surprises! 🚀
