Hey!

I'm Santos. Nice to meet you all.

A bit about me. I'm the Business Lead of Technology and Product at ZEBEDEE.io, a FinTech for the gaming industry that uses bitcoin's lightning network. I previously came from FinTech & FinServices, having 10 years experience. I worked on Amex's payments and product team prior to moving to joining ZEBEDEE as the first product hire.

I'm self-educated with zero degrees, relying predominately upon Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), books, blogs, podcasts, and the like. I was really into esports as a teen and reached top levels in WoW, SC2, & CS:S before someone told me I needed to get a job. What bad advice! Haha. Now, I enjoy learning, designing, and building things in my free-time, along with spending time with my wife, Heidi.

I help run and organize a bitcoin community in Arizona called the AZ Bitcoin Network and provide free and open education. If you're interested, check it out at azb.tc and for my education santos.lol .

Anyway, I have built a company and app: emeralize.com which is like Udemy x TeachersPayTeachers x Substack meets LN, which I'm pretty excited about and is what I plan to write about next.
