Project Idea: LNBits nsecBunker extension

I come up with random ideas all the time so
thought why not post them here in #brainstorm
for anyone who might want to build it...
or just discuss for fun! \o/

We have this problem @peakshift and @boltfun where we need to give different team members access to our Nostr accounts so they can Noost, but for security reasons we don't want to give everyone the private keys. Cause... duh!

Enter, nsecBunker!

One of our very own makers @pablof7z build this tool, I won't go into it much but basically its a software you can self-host, load your Nostr private key into it, then create credentials for someone to load into a Nostr app that supports it (video explainer).

LNBits + nsecBunker

LNBits is more of a development toolkit than an "accounting system" as it has a pretty feature rich admin panel with tons of extensions. So why not a nsecBunker extension? LNBits is easy to deploy in production (e.g. voltage.cloud) so if you already have a server running your lightning node + lightning addresses + nostr toolkit, might as well use the same server grant/remove access to your social media team from a single platform.

In summary:

• run nsecBunker on 1 server (cheaper)

• don't have to give out private keys and can revoke access

• bonus: can also use the LNBits nostr-client extension which allows the social media team to easily post to a bunch of relays the admin sets

• how are you all managing access to shared Nostr accounts?
