PPPs: Week 5 🚀

Work with the Galoy team to get their merchant data semi-automatically ingested into OpenStreetMap. 🗺
We'll be making a couple of announcements this week at Adopting Bitcoin. We have two pretty neat integrations to announce. @secondl1ght takes to the Solutions Stage between 12:30–13:00 on Wednesday, November 16th. 👀
We we build and configure our own full node and CLN instance as we prepare to migrate from Voltage. We love Voltage, but we'd like greater flexibility and can reduce costs. Plus, who doesn't like an IBD?! 🤓
Continue to work on Community adoption with a focus on the designs for the individual Community pages. We currently have a Communities Directory only. The plan is for each Community to have their own pages. We would also like to explore the concept of a Community Leaderboard to compliment the Supertagger Leaderboard.
Explore cross-platform frameworks for mobile apps.

We finished our BTC Map Talk prep for Adopting Bitcoin. 👨‍💻
We quietly launched Community Sponsors, welcoming Bitcoin Island Philippines and Curacao as paid-up community members. Although only relatively small amounts, this support means that we can build out our infrastructure a little more. 🤝
We added another 7 communities this week! 📈
We made some changes to our API to enable private tags to be added. This enables us to build on the OSM dataset without being confined by OSM rules. There are also some advantages to having tags that are only editable by authorised users and should not be held on a public wiki.
We released v0.5.7 of our Android app with updates to the leaderboard logic (screening of OSM bots) and support for older 32-bit ARM platforms. 📱
The Web App is now able to show only legacy tags (those locations with a survey date that is more than 1yr old). This will enable us to better engage with Communities on improving data quality. 🛠
