PPPs: Final Update 🚀

OK, so we managed to squeeze out two new features as part of the competition. 🤟

Merchant Boosting 🚀

Merchants can now be boosted, giving them:

  1. Orange pins on the main map.

  2. Search prominence.

  3. A place on the exclusive boosted map.

This is just the start of the feature roadmap for merchants and opens up the billing relationship between BTCMap.org and merchants. 🤝

BTC Map Point of Sale 🏷

Building on work by our friends over at LNBits, we are now able to offer a hosted BTC Map Point of Sale.

This enables multiple PoS' to be provisioned on a per employee basis, which enables staff to receive tips directly into their own Lightning wallet instantly at the time of tipping.

We think this is a pretty big deal in terms of merchant on-boarding and the orange-pilling of employees as they start to receive tips directly to their own wallet.
