We aim solve the intransparent, cumbersome and inflexible market for premium podcasts.
Our solution uses part of the LSAT spec to allow users to seamlessly buy and listen to premium podcasts. LSAT uses the preimage of a lightning payment to authenticate requests from people who paid for the content.
This solution also allows podcasters to integrate premium episodes directly into their existing feed from other hosters, so that hosting premium episodes becomes as seamless as possible for the podcaster too”.
Team
We, Conshax, are a startup aiming to develop new tools for podcasters.
We used Typescript for the frontend and Rust for the backend, building on the existing podcasting spec and LSAT.
Our solution aims to be fully backwards compatible to allow users without LSAT enabled podcasting apps to listen to premium episodes as well.
