I have loved bitcoin since I first met it about two years ago.

However, in the current situation in Japan, only a minority of people know about bitcoin, and few people other than bitcoiners have actually touched it.

In an effort to make the situation a little better, I have started a project to translate English resources about Bitcoin (& Nostr) into Japanese, and a website to educate people about Bitcoin and the Lightning Network.

In order to promote these activities, I have applied the "Legends Of Lightning vol. 2 Hackathon".

My proofs of work (Achievements)

★During the Hackathon

I listed three initiatives during the hackathon, and thankfully I was able to accomplish all three.

  • Japanese translation of “Geyser Fund”

Great Website (by Mick) to collect donations with Bitcoin Lightning. Of course, I am also managing the project, but at the same time, the full Japanese translation has been completed. I am very happy to have been able to contribute to the project by translating the site into Japanese, and I am also very happy to see the "Project to Connect Japan and El Salvador" being launched by Japanese students.

  • Japanese translation of “Plan B Network”

Great site to learn about Bitcoin (by Rogzy). It will be a little while before we can release it to the public, but I am continuing to translate it into Japanese. Please look forward to its release!

  • Enhancement of the contents in "STACK SATS”

Educational site on Bitcoin and the Lightning Network (by yutaro). I have updated content such as "Bitcoin Banking for Communities: Lessons Learned from Bitcoin Beach" and "Two legendary speeches about Bitcoin in full text and Japanese translation". More content will be added in the future.

My road map

I will continue this project even after the hackathon ends. Next year, I plan to focus on the following three targes in particular.

1. Bitcoin Podcast for Beginners

In cooperation with Teruko, we will start a podcast aimed at beginners that can comprehensively learn about financial freedom, money and bitcoin.

(Target start date: January 2024).

2. Japanese translation of Plan B Network (Bitcoin Tutorial for beginners)

I am currently translating Rogzy's great Bitcoin tutorial site into Japanese, where you can learn about Bitcoin systematically.

(Target release date: Q2 2024)

3. 21 Days Bitcoin email course for Beginners

I was very impressed with 21 Dias de Bitcoin, so I will create a Bitcoin email course in Japanese that beginners can learn in 21 days.
