Password managers need support for LNURL-auth
Password managers like KeePassXC are handy and useful. We use them every day to identify ourselves on websites. Most password managers have a browser integration that helps us generate new passwords and use saved ones.
The trend is that more and more websites allow password-less authentication based on Lightning. Login with Lightning is a very user-friendly way to log in to the web. Also worth reading: Sign in with lightning ⚡️
Here's what I've been thinking: It would be neat if our password managers could also do LNURL-auth. The Lightning wallet created in the password manager would be used only for web logins. This way you separate the payments wallet and the login wallet.
I mean, why not? Everything is already prepared: The browser integration already exists. The only thing missing is Lightning. That's all.
