Nostr Market Places for language learning

A possible use-case for Nostr Market Places I'd like to throw out in the open is the ability to use it as an alternative to centralized platforms that allow people to sell their skills.

Such platforms I am familiar with are the ones built around language learning such as Italki, Verbling, Preply, etc.

Don't get me wrong, these platforms are great. I've used them many times to take lessons in some of the languages I am interested in.

However, I've recently experienced the dark side of them being centralized. A friend had been teaching for many years on of these platforms. She built a loyal customer basis, with many returning students. Then, she took a break following her pregnancy. When she wanted to return about a year later, she found out she had been kicked out without given the ability to contact any of her previous students. She was not her own boss, as these platform like to claim. She was a customer. Similar to content creators on platforms such as Youtube, she got thrown aside as soon as they did not need her anymore.

A similar platform built on Nostr could give the following benefits:

she owns her identity and her customer basis. She can take them to some other platform if one such platform does not suit her needs anymore.
she can build reputation (very important for potential students that will be paying you to take lessons with you, potentially kids for whom online safety matters even more) by using her same identity for all the different platforms using the Nostr protocol
she can build an audience using the advantage of sharing the network effect from all platforms using the Nostr protocol rather than the walled services that all need to build their own network effet.
A platform (Nostr Market Place) can still make a profit by attracting the most skilled teachers by offering a better service than other Nostr Market Places.
