Pace & Progress
We have a stretch goal of launching approximately 1 chapter per month. We've had great pacing so far!
We're approaching the project from an agile mindset of empiricism. We try things, gather data about pace, capacity, and output. And then we adjust.

We ran into an error in Chapter 4 that's now been cleared!

Have been hard at work writing, testing, and deploying Chapter 5! See new cut here on GitHub.

We had a small back-end SNAFU for a few days.
- For us nerds: We noticed when a user tries to run a repl from the frontend where they have to write code and we run/interpret it from our backend, we kept getting an error for docker not starting up. The reason is that we deployed a new instance of the backend on a new ec2 environment and docker hasn't been started to spin a container to interact with the command from the frontend. This was fixed. We also noticed that each time a user tries to run a new task from the frontend, we have images spinning up (this is expensive, and will consume our instance memory up quickly). So we should have disposable containers based on the first base image created for each language we support, this will be more optimal.

Literally already pushing along Chapter 6 issues. The biggest challenge will be live-saving user-written code.
Design Updates
To make things more... human - we're exploring replacing names with avatars.
Content & Storyline Updates
We inherited the storyline from a very brilliant human. Chapters 1-6 were thoroughly written.
And now we get to be creative with Chapters 7-10.
What will the storyline be? What challenges will the protagonist need to solve? All is up for debate!
So we explored - are there elements of bitcoin development we'd like to teach users? And some creative storyline that we can fit that into?
Have a peek here.
Product Updates
As always, let us know if you're open to a user interview. We'd love your feedback!
