Pace & Progress

We have a stretch goal of launching approximately 1 chapter per month. So far, so good!

We're approaching the project from an agile mindset of empiricism. We try things, gather data about pace, capacity, and output. And then we adjust.

Engineering Updates

• Focusing on error codes, which will help our users tremendously as challenges get more difficult (which they will!).

• Decided to move towards a named function approach, away from the console log to return answers.

• KNOCKING OUT CHAPTER 5 BY MAYBE END OF WEEK!?

• Users will be able to console log content from scripts without encoding the script. This means better debugging experiences as the challenges get tougher.

One that introduces the characters in the Saving Satoshi universe? Makes it more engaging and playful?

Content & Storyline Updates

Chapter 6 will be hard! (Friendly re-reminder).

Classes. Instances. Writing transactions. Writing script that creates and signs transactions!

We're exploring if the challenge should be step-by-step, or one whole long thing. One is easier from a learner's point of view, but doesn't reflect how this would look in reality.

Chapter 7-10 are looming... What kinds of code challenges will we have?

Literally no one knows. Yet.
