Introducing ScienceStr

Open access to knowledge and research is vital for scientific progress and human flourishing. When research findings and academic publications are locked behind expensive paywalls, it severely limits who can benefit from humanity's shared knowledge. Free, decentralized access allows researchers around the world to quickly build on one another's discoveries instead of reinventing the wheel. It accelerates innovation, scientific advancement, and new breakthroughs. Unfettered access to knowledge also promotes education and life-long learning for all people, not just those in elite institutions. Freely sharing knowledge stimulates new perspectives, ideas, and applications that would never emerge in closed systems. Despite resistance from those clinging to old models, the tide is turning toward open. The future will be powered by decentralized knowledge and research that is fully accessible to all who wish to learn, create, and build a better world.

With this in mind I've decided create a project that might help us get one step closer to that goal.

ScienceStr is a nostr bot that answers scientific questions by accessing decentralized repositories of available research papers and constructs and answer with the help of large language models.

Proof of concept for sciencestr:

Project combines the power of nostr, Standard Template Construct and advancements in large language models to provide a simple interface that can be reachable from anywhere and can be run by anyone.
