Hi + Project Idea

Hi there,

I'm a developer/engineer currently writing 3D web (Three.js) code for my day-job

I've an idea for a project involving Nostr, Lightning, etc

Easiest way to imagine is vs. the industry space it would disrupt: events apps (Meetup, Eventbrite etc.) AND dating apps (Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, Feeld) simultaneously

The basic mechanism/algorithm (or at least the primary one I have in mind so far) is: micropayment bid-driven profile or event feeds, constrained by time and geography

So f(t,g,s) = entry in feed; where 't' is timestamp submitted, 'p' is geojson or similar of some geographical scope, and 's' is satoshis

So if you wanted to have the number 1 dating profile on the global feed (feed for the whole world) you'd maybe have to pay a shed load of sats

But if you just wanted that in some small geography somewhere, that wouldn't be the case...

Same thing for events like if you're starting a meetup etc

I wonder if this project idea sounds reasonable and if others would like to get involved? Personally I work full-time and haven't had much time at all to get to grips with Nostr/Lightning but I could definitely do, you know, not zero... I could also take a week off work... Maybe longer if things got really serious...

But I don't think I could do this alone... Just being honest I don't think I'm that good or have that much resource/energy right now...

So if anyone else likes this idea, please, please connect with me and let's see what happens :) I'm sure even if there's a bit of interest, it'll be very motivating... So yeah there we go anyway
