How did you get into bitcoin?

Bought my first ₿ in 2016. went indie hacker and nomad in 2019. Explored the Lightning Network when barely anybody knew about it in 2020. Solved my own Lightning problems with lnrouter.app. Got traction in 2021.

What's something that excites you about the space now?

P2P app have a big future. That's what I am focusing my exploration on at the moment. Lot's of work to do.

My roles & skills 🦄

Mostly software engineering. But with all the indie projects I made so far, my intuition about products and how they should look like is covering a lot of areas. Project management is easy. Recognizing user friction and user needs is hard.

What I'm currently working on 🧑‍💻

I am actively exploring the P2P space. All the new tech (Holepunch and more) will bring lots of opportunities. I want to

• Understand how P2P app can be built in detail.

• Understand how to bootstrap a P2P system. The problem is similar to launching a new facebook. Aka, it's quite boring being the only user.

• How to reduce UX friction and still keep things decentralized and secure.

• Find a good problem/market. Even though P2P sounds great, it's not obvious how to create a business with it. It's decentralized remember? You can't just take a cut of the payment like in a centralized service.
