I am currently serving as a researcher at the University of Turin, Italy, where my focus lies in exploring the applications of cryptography within the realm of Bitcoin. This allows me to delve into the intricate ciphers and algorithms that bolster the security and functionality of cryptocurrency networks.
Simultaneously, I hold the position of Head of Research at Bitshop, where my responsibilities are threefold. Firstly, I am engrossed in code development, striving to elevate the quality and efficiency of our software solutions. Secondly, I spearhead initiatives around reputation management within anonymous and adversarial environments. This aspect of my work aims to foster trust and credibility in digital interactions, despite the inherent challenges posed by anonymity. Lastly, my role at Bitshop encompasses working on a plethora of other exciting projects, each of which contributes towards pushing the boundaries of what's achievable in the Bitcoin space
What's something that excites you about the space now?
The global recognition of Bitcoin's potential excites me, paving the way for a financial revolution embodying decentralization and financial sovereignty. Technological innovations around Bitcoin's Layer 2 are enhancing its scalability and ability to sustain world-level load, marking it as a viable backbone for a new financial paradigm. This progress has birthed applications like Bitshop, a decentralized Nostr-based aggregator of marketplaces. Serving as a hub for self-sovereign individuals, Bitshop, akin to platforms like Amazon or eBay but decentralized, fosters a self-regulated marketplace ecosystem through an innovative reputation system, promoting financial independence and self-sovereignty in line with Bitcoin's foundational principles.

Throughout my professional journey, I have predominantly engaged in programming using Python and Rust. These languages have been instrumental in honing my software development skills, enabling me to tackle complex challenges and contribute effectively to my respective fields of work. Although I have dabbled in front-end development, it has been more on a personal or experimental level rather than a professional engagement.
My forte lies in researching and developing novel solutions for technical problems. With a propensity for delving deep into issues, unraveling their intricacies, and devising innovative solutions, I thrive in environments that demand a blend of analytical prowess and creative thinking.
