Has the Pi-me come to setup my node?

I’ve been talking about it for ages, but now I actually have all the pieces I need to run my own node. It’s just a matter of setting it up!

I’ve decided that I will be reporting on my node operation experience as part of my #100DaysOfBitcoin challenge! I will post about the process, my learnings, asking lots of questions along the way - so please bear with me! When I'm not ranting about my self sovereign computing device, I will be posting learnings from Mastering Lightning Network, I book I started reading last year but failed to get around to finishing! (It will be interesting to see how much has changed since Andreas & René published its first edition).

Best time for setup?!

Whilst I’m eager to put it all together today, I’m due to move house next week. So is it better for me to wait until I’m in there with WiFi before syncing my node? Otherwise won’t I just have to do this process again since it’ll go offline by the end of the week?

Any node operators out there? Please help!
