🤙 Summary

Has been a great week here in Nostrich.land, nostriches from all over the world gathered and exchanged great vibes and useful knowledge to support and build the next rails for the future of fast, free, and private interplanetary communications.

We got the chance to present our nostr digital goods store at Nostrica 2023 and took the time to showcase GoodStr there thanks to the amazing NOS.social team organizing and facilitating NosTropical Hackathon that will close tonight with a closing private event here in Bitcoin Jungle.

Challenge & Mission

This series of events help us to refine our final aim: onboarding newbies and no-coiners to bitcoin lightning and nostr protocols without them knowing that are actually using a new and revolutionary medium of communication, that non only will allow fast, private and free-speech communication but also exchange of value under the hood!

GoodStr will be one of the hundreds of microApps built on nostr that will focus on on-ramping no-coiners via a simple digital marketplace. We'll take both creators/sellers and consumers/customers by their hand, educate them about those new technologies, and instruct them on how to engage in an alternative way to exchange information through the Value 4 Value model.

Simply and easily, the sellers will be able to create and sell products freely on GoodStr, but they will need to complete their onboarding journey to be able to withdrawal their precious sats. Their customers, in the same way, will be able to discover new sellers and products and, to complete a purchase or donation, they will need to create/log a nostr profile and create/add a lightning address.
