Are you ready for finals day? Here's what you need to know before our 18 finalists battle it out for ~3 BTC in prizes on Dec 6th.
On Monday we announced our 18 finalists for BOLT🔩FUN first ever #LegendsOfLightning tournament. Spread across two tracks, these finalists will go head to head on Finals Day (Dec 6th) and battle it out for ~3 BTC in track and grand prizes. Here’s what you need to know…
Finals Day - Dec 6th
Finals Day will take place next Tuesday, December 6th. Each track from the tournament (Global Adoption 🧡 + Building for Africa 🌍) will host their own online live stream - giving finalists a shot a winning some huge bitcoin prizes in front of a global audience and panel of judges! The track streams will be hosted on BOLT🔩FUN’s YouTube channel and take place at the following times:
Finalists from each track will have 5 minutes to pitch their projects, as well as an additional 5 minutes of Q+A from audience members and judges. Our specialised panels of judges will then evaluate their track’s finalists and vote on a 1st ($5k), 2nd ($2.5k), 3rd ($1.5k), and Best Design ($1k) award. Additionally, all judges will then come together and place their votes on who they think should be crowned The Legend (1 BTC) + x2 Runner Ups (0.5 BTC each) from both tracks. The awards will be announced the following day on December 7th.
Taking part?
Are you one of the selected finalists for your track? Here’s what you’ll need to do:

Book your time slot for Finals Day! I have sent all finalists a booking link, please follow the instructions and register your preferred time for presenting your project. Any issues, please let me know.

Prepare a short 5 minute presentation of your project (ideally in the form of a pitch, however it could also be a video walkthrough/demo of your product).
- Include details such as: What problem does this product solve? What audience am I targeting? Who built it and how? What are the future plans and roadmap?

If you are not available to pitch it live, please pre-record a 5 minute video and we will stream it for you. Ideally, please have someone present who can answer any follow up questions.
