🚀 A new mission for the century... VEINTIUNO

A publication of ideas. We create and translate expert knowledge of the philosophy, science, psychology and universal society of Bitcoin through essays in combination with original and selected podcasts. Receive them directly in your inbox...

With the aim of adding Spanish to the digital map of bitcoin contents and promote its values, culture and the best information about this human-evolving technological development: Bitcoin. An open-source community project that focuses on translating and creating educational resources about Bitcoin, in Spanish. 

Our goal is to make information accessible to a Spanish-speaking audience by translating documents, videos and documentaries. In addition, we have created educational board games to make the Bitcoin learning journey fun and interactive. The community consists of Bitcoiners that voluntarily work together to create quality content in Spanish. Everyone is invited to contribute and participate in discussions on our channels.

🚨 Summary

Interesting times pass through and, like everything else around us, we like to see things changing for the better, help them grow and evolve. ₿LOIDzine has been an interesting one-week project. During the research phase, a lot of insights and data has been gathered, and we did realize most of the interesting contents about freedom and bitcoin are written in English.

English is the most widely spoken language in terms of the number of people who speak it as either a first or second language, with an estimated 1.5 billion speakers. This means that there are at least 5.5 billion people who speak a language other than English. It was enough to decide to focus our efforts on Spanish, the 4th most spoken language globally, with more than 500 million native speakers, mainly in the Americas and Spain.

More over, the amount of articles written in English that mention the world bitcoin is currently around 160,000. An enormous advantage for English-speakers -- allowed to select their best sources of knowledge -- compared with the only 16,000 articles written in Spanish. Mathematically speaking, a 10% chance to access relatable and well funded information.

🛠 So, what's the Plan?

At some stage, dots just connect themselves to become a whatever shape or brain interpret and give meaning to. The same happened here, VEINTIUNO has been also inspired (and wanted to contribute to) the gorgeous work did until now by DerGigi with the bitcoin resources and many of other projects and books he categorized, created and still publishing.

That's where we started, creating the base and structure that allow us to create, translate and publish our Spanish-written contents. Check out the progress and the currently published contents on VEINTIUNO.world website.

✋ Challenges

There's so much that has been written in English that we basically struggle to decide from where to start translating. If you have any preference, or you'd like to see anything translated into Spanish, please let us know, and we'll make our best to add it to the queue.
