Introduction

Our journey started at SatsHack (Hackaton from SatsConf 2023), and two major existential challenges to social media today. The first is the issue of spam. On privately owned platforms like YouTube or Twitter, spam is predominantly found in comments. However, on Nostr, spam is a bigger problem due to the lack of an effective monitoring algorithm, leading it to proliferate in timelines as well.

The second significant challenge is identity verification. The cost of creating fake accounts is very low and decreasing. Furthermore, AI is enabling the creation of highly convincing fake profiles with even voice and realistic video capabilities. Interestingly, these problems are not as impactful in our day-to-day lives.

In the real world, harmful speech often has significant social and sometimes legal repercussions, and verifying someone's identity isn't as challenging when we can rely on our senses. So, the question arises: how can we bridge the gap between virtual and real realities? Inspired by Saylor's talks, we see Bitcoin as the ideal collateral asset to cultivate a realm of private justice. Theoretically, it could align the incentives of content creators, users, and node relays. This is where Orange Checkr comes in.

For you, the user, trust is key. With Orange Checkr, you can be assured that the content you're receiving is genuinely produced by a credited creator, not by some random AI. As a bonus, you get an Anti-SPAM filter and access to a community curated by a Node Relay.

For content creators, what we aim to offer is reputation. Orange Checkr enables the building of a personal brand within a community of people who share similar goals and values, protected from spammers, fakes, and a private justice system to deal with haters and cancellations.

For you, relay operators, we offer the chance to earn a new source of income, and potentially professionalize, acting as a judge within the domain of your node, fostering the creation of private communities.

So, what are we proposing to build?

Chatbot:

Our Chatbot will be the primary interface for users and creators to interact with Node Relay Operators. The chatbot will enable several functions:

1. Pledge Collateral

2. Withdraw Collateral

3. Report Posts and Users

   Will allow reporting of inappropriate posts or users.

Additionally, it will notify users if there are issues with their posts or if their collateral has been seized.

Relay Services:

1. Dashboard:

   The dashboard will be the central hub for all relevant information and available actions.

2. Node Proxy:

   This feature will enable message filtering, user bans, and the sending of warnings to users.

3. AI Assistant:

   Yes, we are also developing an AI assistant to aid operators with daily filtering tasks.
