Fehu Pitch
🚀 What is your project, and what problems is it looking to solve?
Fehu allows anyone in the world to monetise their time, energy, products or services. It does so by creating a bolt12 contract wherein parameters and conditions are defined. Once valid, it creates a QR-code that can be shared and read by any bolt12 supporting lightning wallet.
🦹🏻 Who built it (team) and how? What specs, languages, and tools did you use?
Fehu is designed and created by @saentari with the open source & open design ethos in mind. The design is created in Figma with the latest Bitcoin design guidelines in mind. The mobile app is created with Flutter in Dart. It follows the bolt11 and bolt12 specification for lightning payments. The backend is currently a core-lightning node running locally, and uses some lndart libraries to connect to the node.
🗺️ What are the next steps on your project’s roadmap?
The project was a late tournament entry and there is plenty more to do. The concept design could use some more details and include some error scenario's. Currently, only a single happy flow is supported and some settings are hard-coded. The app itself focusses mainly on the provider side, for creating bolt12 contracts and not yet on the customer flow for streaming payments. Eventually Fehu should be fully supported, non-custodial lightning wallet. The backend could also use an upgrade for increased security, custom runes, and replacing testnet with mainnet. And last but not least, the app can improved with people using it and giving feedback.
