eNuts x Nostr: Week 3 🚀
We've been deep in the trenches, fine-tuning our Nostr integration. Week one was a whirlwind with tons of insights, especially a gold nugget from Christoph of the Bitcoin Design community. He pointed us to Nostr's guide on imposter prevention: Nostr Design Guide. Taking a cue from that, we decided to ditch the checkmark from user profiles and keep just the NIP 05 URL.
While week 1 was all about the UN and UI of sending ecash on Nostr, we realized we've got to make receiving or redeeming ecash on Nostr just as smooth. Last week, we threw out a question about the copy users see when they hit the 'receive' button in eNuts.

We were blown away by the response on Twitter and Nostr! Our little Twitter poll alone snagged 48 replies and a bunch of super-helpful comments. This week we're on a mission to make redeeming Ecash on Nostr even better. Right now, when you click 'receive', you see the Nostr redemption option.
We're brainstorming ways to improve this up:
-
Maybe some alerts for new Ecash tokens heading your way?
-
Letting users pick which tokens to redeem?
-
Or what if Ecash tokens sent via Nostr were redeemed automatically?"
