Design Internship Progress Logs Week 4 Day 5
I began my day by delving into research on design sprints and storyboards. As I was feeling a bit stuck and uncertain about the final goal of designing the Founders club, I recognized the need to gain a clearer understanding of these concepts. I realized that to move forward with designing the wireframes for the founders club, I needed to create a more comprehensive user journey storyboard. This allowed me to visualize the necessary elements on every page I created and determine what had been missing in my previous work. To begin this process, I started by sketching the first step of the founders' journey: how they would discover the founders club. From there, I created a sketch of the final outcome, which was the pitch competition. With these two endpoints in mind, I was able to frame my storyboard and fill in the steps in between. I focused on the founders' journey and visualized the user journey solutions that Johns and I had previously created. To better think through the relationships between pages, I sketched everything in the form of a UI flow. I also made sure not to add any unnecessary elements or new ideas.

Problems: The challenges I faced included feeling stuck in my work and lacking clarity on the final goal of the project. However, through research and storyboarding, I was able to overcome that.
-
Plans: My plans moving forward include continuing to create wireframes and refining them according to the storyboards. By strengthening my foundation and filling in the gaps that were causing me to struggle, I plan to create more wireframes and redesign them according to the storyboards.

Progress: My progress for the day involved taking a step back to reassess my approach to the founders club project, and realizing that I needed to focus on creating a more in-depth user journey storyboard. This allowed you to set a stronger foundation for wireframes and helped think more clearly about the relations between pages.
