Design Internship Progress Logs Week 4 Day 3

Today I focused on creating rough wireframes for the Founders Club project. In the previous day Johns and I worked together to create a user journey and mapped out the steps from accepting an invitation to the Founders Club to participating in the pitch competition. From there, I designed wireframes for key points in the journey.

• Problems: One of the challenges I faced was translating the user journey into a rough design that fits with the BOLT.FUN site. Also, It was challenging to ensure consistency with the overall design. I needed to make sure that the wireframes effectively communicated the user journey and provided a clear path for users to follow, while still being simple and intuitive to use. Another challenge was to anticipate potential user pain points and design solutions that would address those issues.

• Progress: I am now moving on to the next phase of the project instead of planning and sketching. Additionally, I am excited to have gained experience in navigating the UX/UI design process from beginning.

• Plans: Moving forward, my plans are to create more wireframes and explore design solutions for the Founders Club that are both effective for users and cohesive with the BOLT.FUN. I am also planning to utilize Chat GPT as a tool to aid in the design process.
