Design Internship Progress Logs Week 3 Day 5

Today I continued working on the BOLT.FUN website product's capabilities section that I started on the previous day. The task at hand was to incorporate the Nostr Improvement Proposals and Bitcoin Improvement Proposals as new capabilities that users could add to their products. Specifically, I worked on designing the capabilities section on the "List a product/Product Details" page.

• Problems: One of the primary challenges I encountered was differentiating the three categories of capabilities, while still maintaining existing design patterns and creating easy navigation between sections. Additionally, I had to ensure that the design was suitable for both web and mobile devices. To address these challenges, I added two search bars that allowed users to search through the two different categories of capabilities.

• Progress: Despite these challenges, I made significant progress in designing the capabilities section. I focused on staying consistent with the designs, naming layers and components accurately, and thinking like a user to spot any potential issues. I also continued to improve my UI skills by translating the design into UI.

• Plans: Moving forward, my plans are to finish the capabilities section and ensure that it meets all the requirements of the project. I will also continue to work on the billing page design exploration and seek out opportunities to learn new skills and techniques to improve my design work.
