Overall

In the past week, I designed upcoming hackathon templates, as well as BOLT.FUN merchandise. I got to work on the CBDC tracker project phase 2, where I developed a design for a Blog page.

Challenges

The main challenge was to generate backgrounds and imageries for the hackathon, using Midjourney and other AI tools. We established the overall concept which was very exciting, and in the process, we conducted research and looked for existing models that represent the visual style and feel of the brand. To create the BOLT.FUN merch, I used different elements like emojis, bolts, and colors that represent BOLT.FUN and our story. The most challenging part was to emulate the feeling of our community and unity for Maker t-shirt designs. I designed the team t-shirts with a different, more personalized approach for every team member, so we conducted a small survey to tell us more about our team members.

Progress

I was happy to learn how to utilize AI tools like Midjourney to generate unique visuals. I researched how to use different prompts and generate the best possible imageries. This will be very useful in my future work, but also in other design and art projects, to either gather inspiration or visualize my concepts and ideas.

Plans

I plan to learn more and explore other AI tools and the possibilities of incorporating them into my artwork and design.
