I worked on different projects for BOLT.FUN, including designing merchandise such as stickers and posters. I also focused on hackathon graphics and template design, with goals to create reusable components and maintain a well-organized design file. Additionally, I made some changes to the design of AB24 tickets.

  • Challenges: The challenges I faced were diverse. While working on the stickers for BOLT.FUN merchandise, I ensured that the graphics were print-ready and effectively conveyed the brand's playful and dynamic identity. We have several sticker themes, from logo with bolts and nuts, emojis of team members, to the hackathons that are representing the story of our platform. For the hackathon templates, my main challenge was to create reusable components that adhered to component naming standards, ensuring ease of use for the rest of the team.

  • Progress: Throughout this week, I made significant progress in learning and implementing new design techniques. I gained valuable experience in preparing sticker designs for print using Illustrator and explored various AI tools for graphic and image upscaling. Working on hackathon templates allowed me to enhance my organizational skills and component naming practices.

  • Plans: I will continue working on the t-shirt merchandise for BOLT.FUN and learning how to design for clothing items. Additionally, I aim to take on more UI/UX-based design tasks, like taking part in designing an app for one of our projects.
