Design Internship Progress Logs Week 20
Throughout my UX UI design internship, I took on different design tasks for both the Ai4ALL hackathon and Adopting Bitcoin. These included creating schedule and workshop graphics for the hackathon, designing social media templates for AB, and initiating work on the AB brand book. These projects presented their challenges but also provided learning experiences and allowed me to progress in my design skills.
-
Challenges: Designing the workshop and speaker announcement graphics for the hackathon required careful attention to detail and a fast yet accurate approach. Ensuring that the timetables and speaker information were precise and free from errors or confusion was crucial.
In creating graphics and templates for Adopting Bitcoin's social media, the main challenge was to develop diverse layouts that could be translated into different sizes and adapted to different requirements. Additionally, participating in a meeting to discuss the progress of my work was a new experience that presented its own set of challenges.
-
Progress: Over the past week, I have gained valuable experiences in client communication, articulating my design choices, and conveying the workflow of my design progress. I gained more confidence in my design decision-making abilities.
-
Plans: I will continue designing the graphics for the Ai4ALL hackathon. I will also focus on creating the AB23 brand book, which will serve as a comprehensive guide to highlight what was created. Additionally, I will begin working on designing merchandise for Peak Shift and BOLT.FUN.
