Design Internship Progress Logs Week 19 Day 1

I designed a map for the event Adopting Bitcoin 2023. I created more graphics that will be in the sponsorship deck.

• Challenges: Design a map of Crowne Plaza in San Salvador with dedicated spaces for different occasions and purposes, like a Sponsor stage, Hackspace or courts, expo village, etc. The map is created to help visitors and attendees to navigate the space easier, with simple graphic solutions that are in the style of AB23 design and branding. I also had a meeting with the client, where I learned more about their expectations and challenges to solve for the sponsorship deck.

• Progress: In this project, I had the opportunity to directly communicate with the clients, navigate the project independently and learn from this experience. I learned a lot about how to receive feedback, how to deliver solutions and designs to the client, and how to help them solve their problems. The map I designed will be used in different graphics and spaces, not just in the sponsorship deck, to help participants in the conference navigate through the building and make their experience even better.

• Plans: I plan to create social graphics for the AI4ALL hackathon, and design Peak Shift merchandise like stickers, shirts, bags, etc. I'm excited to participate in these projects as they require more creativity and graphic design knowledge, and will be useful for my internship experience.
