Over the past week, I worked on two main projects: the Peak Shift website design and the Adopting Bitcoin 2024 website redesign. For the Peak Shift website, I assisted in designing various pages while ensuring the mobile versions were also thoughtfully considered. Additionally, I began the design process for the Adopting Bitcoin 2024 website, leveraging the existing design as a foundation.

  • Challenges: Designing the Peak Shift website posed some challenges, particularly in capturing the unique style that aligns with the company's mission and values. Incorporating drawings of technological inventions that symbolize these values was a complex task. Furthermore, translating the visual graphics from posters into a cohesive website design while maintaining simplicity required careful consideration. Another challenge arose in adapting the web designs to mobile screens, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience.

When working on the Adopting Bitcoin project, the main challenge revolved around identifying new colors that would appropriately represent the upcoming event while maintaining visual harmony and cohesion.

  • Progress: During this period, I made significant progress in the website design for both Peak Shift. I made strides in creating the mobile versions of these pages, which was a new experience for me. Also, working on the CBDC tracker landing page thought me the whole process of designing for a client, from creating concepts based on briefs and notes to making high-fidelity prototypes.

  • Plans: Moving forward, my plans involve refining the design of the Peak Shift website based on feedback and further developing the mobile versions for optimal responsiveness. Additionally, I will continue working on the Adopting Bitcoin 2024 website.
