Design Internship Progress Log Week 3 Day 2

Throughout the day, I worked on a billing page for a website, which presented several challenges. In addition to designing the billing page, I also worked on creating a widget for BOLT.FUN that showcases the hackathon and sponsors.

• Challenges: I had to consider the placement of various components, such as pricing tables and payment options, while also keeping in mind the overall aesthetics of the page. Creating a hackathon widget also posed some challenges. I had to ensure that the widget was not too cluttered with information, while still providing the necessary details about upcoming hackathons and their sponsors. It was important to keep the widget design consistent with the overall style of the website, while still making it visually interesting.

• Progress: While working on these projects, I gained insight into naming components and gained a better understanding of design patterns. I learned a great deal about layout, components, and various tools in Figma.

• Plans: Moving forward, I plan to complete both the billing page and the hackathon widget. I hope to further develop my design skills through these projects and continue to learn more about design best practices.
