How will my work impact the community?

A user-friendly and intuitive onboarding process can reduce frustration and confusion for new users, which can help to build trust and encourage greater engagement with Nostr. By removing barriers to entry, we can attract more participants and increase the adoption of Nostr.

Simplify

Nostr can be complex and difficult to understand for people who are new to public/private key cryptography. Designers must find ways to simplify these concepts and present them in a way that is easy for users to understand and engage with.

Ease of Use

Onboarding a new user to Nostr must be easy and straightforward, allowing users to get started quickly and efficiently. This may involve streamlining the sign-up process, reducing the number of steps involved, and providing clear and concise instructions at each step.

Security

Ensuring the security of users' private keys are of the utmost importance. Onboarding may include education on how to secure private keys and protect against potential threats, such as phishing attacks or hacking.
