Bitcoin-Connect.com & Zappy Bird!

Today we're unveiling the new website for Bitcoin Connect: https://bitcoin-connect.com/ it's created by Jakub with Framer, an AI-powered tool for making websites. It's a lot better than our previous site, which took me a few days to code, and as Rene says, "I don't know how long this new version would take me to make it if I had to program it". The only programming needed inserting our custom Bitcoin Connect element, and adding a section for looking at different themes.

We started on a LNC connector using lnc-web as an easy, secure and private way to connect to your node without TOR. The aim is to add as many connectors as possible, just like the Alby extension. Bitcoin Connect is neutral and open to any connectors for lightning wallets. In this PR we have also improved our contributing guide, so hopefully some contributors will add their own wallets.

Bumi and I did a presentation for the Indonesia Bitcoin Conference (IDBC) about how easy it is to use Bitcoin connect to turn the "Flappy Bird" game into "Zappy Bird" with a few lines of code. This is one cool example of how powerful Bitcoin Connect can be - it vastly improves the UX over traditional mobile wallet payments.
