Bitcoin Connect 2.4.2 Release and Podcast Debut on Connect the World

This week we released a new version of Bitcoin Connect with the new payment dialog. With two lines of code and an invoice, you can launch this amazing payment UX.

In this release we also upgraded a lot of the connector icons and titles, making the connection page a lot more user-friendly. See a before-after comparison:

The next thing we have to do is add pagination - there should be only two rows of connectors shown to the user, with the ability to easily swipe between the pages. Along with that, we also plan to add a link for new users who don't have a wallet yet - so they can feel welcomed and easily get started with lightning. This new payment dialog could be a user's first experience with bitcoin and lightning. Jakub's inital design is below. What do you think?

Finally, Bumi, the co-founder and lead developer from Alby is visiting Chiang Mai where I (Roland) get to work with him in person for a week! I will be digging his brains about Bitcoin Connect. I am sure we will have some cool new ideas to share in the next update.
