Back to the drawing board!
Just put up a new dry-erase board, so I guess the next step is coming up with a sensible project so I can enter the Legends of Lightning tourney!
Ideas swirling around in my head right now...
-
Lightning wallet focused on remittance (already have some of the design done and landing page here)
-
Federated virtual reality marketplace (think a bazaar but for digital merchants) where each VR stall in the federated bazaar is hosted on the merchants personal server, bundled with a BTC/LN node
-
Trust-minimized "partner draw" or "sou-sou" or "su-su" depending on where you are from. It could be as simple as a time-locked multisig, or could be more elaborate like a fidelity bond that constantly mixes, generating income for the draw and then a pre-scripted collaborative spend for each draw, or lightning payouts would be even better. It would be public and multisig would prevent anyone from running away with the funds. **Brain-Buster**: The issue with partner draw is that eventually someone does not pay their share after they already got their draw. The only clean solution I can think of is a tiered reputation system where they have to successfully complete lower tiers (smaller draw amounts) before they have a good enough rep to join a higher partner draw.

Off-line "set-up-shop" Lightning PoS and store in a box concept (using all the LNURLPoS stuff). give a vendor a box and they will have the ability to enter in items for sale and collect lightning payments without needing an internet connection. would need to have an non-techie way for the vendor to convert the store revenue if they need to repurchase more goods to sell. Maybe the concept has to be done in pairs with the vendor and supplier, given that the supplier will most likely have better access to financial services and payment rails.
