Nostr Proxy

Nostr Proxy is a new (and experimental) way to use Nostr.

Instead of setting up a bunch of your favorite relays every time you use a new Nostr client (because let's be honest, new clients with a better UI are popping every minutes), you can add only one => Your proxy

The proxy will broadcast events to its connected relays and send back to you all the responses.

Pros:

• Your client is faster because connected to only 1 relay

• You don't leak your client IP to X relays. Relays only see your proxy IP

Cons:

• You can't use a public proxy if you are registered to paid relays

• other ?

The project is really basic and not battle tested. The source code is available on Github (github.com/dolu89/nostr-proxy)

Host your own proxy, especially if you are registered to paid relays.
