How the project started 🚀
The project was born thanks to the meeting of two realities, thanks to a twitter thread twitter thread: HUB21 and BitPolito.
From there our tow realities get in touch to explore how to make it possible! ⚡️
Guided by the same passions and goals, the guys from hub21 gave us a hand to lay the fundamentals and allow us to get where we are now and make this application. 🔥
Right now we are proceeding with the development, keeping in touch with each other and the goal is to present our app and our long term mission by the end of this hackathon...and win it! 😉💪
🟡 About Hub21 👋
Hub21 is non-profit organizaiton, located in the centre of Belgrade aiming to provide a education, training, research and community space for our members. The founders are a mix of Bitcoin professionals who collectively have over 20 years of experience in the industry through various contributions in Bitcoin open-source projects and companies.
Our core mission is to be the meeting point for professionals in Bitcoin related technical fields from which members can flourish and pursue their own branches of organizing bitcoin education and promoting. We cater to members from various fields such as software development, art and design, content creation and education.
Bitcoin-focused 🎯
The core mission of our association is to spread Bitcoin philosophy and adoption. We produce materials in the Serbian language, host seminars/workshops/meetups and help form Bitcoin-focused companies in the Balkan region. We believe that Bitcoin is a revolutionary technology that will bring financial freedom to the whole world. Starting from the Balkan Bitcoin community TwentyOne, a small group of us founded a physical location to advance our goals. Hub21 serves as the community from which members can flourish and pursue their own branches of organizing bitcoin education and promoting adoption.

BitPolito is a student team at the Politecnico di Torino that has quickly established itself as one of the leading Bitcoin projects in Italy. With significant growth in just three years since its foundation, BitPolito is committed to fostering a greater understanding and awareness of Bitcoin.
The team draws inspiration from the 'Cypherpunk' movement, considered one of the cultural pillars of Bitcoin, with which it shares the values of freedom, privacy, security and open source sharing.
Mission 🎯
Aiming to give everyone the opportunity to learn more about the Bitcoin protocol, BitPolito focuses on technological and social aspects, avoiding investment issues. Activities range from technological and mathematical research and development to dissemination through conferences, seminars, theoretical/practical courses, training and educational events. Involving experts in the field, it engages in the publication of essays, articles and videos, providing educational material with a scientific slant through an active presence on various social platforms.
Working with institutional bodies, businesses and organisations in both the public and private sectors, BitPolito is committed to promoting the conscious and responsible use of technology.
