As a Bitcoin non-profit community program, Lago Bitcoin has the goal of creating a circular Bitcoin economy, providing Bitcoin education, promoting economic and business development. The last goal of economic and business development is focused around the use of the abundant natural resources available in the Atitlan lake basin with a population of about 300,000 in the western highlands of Guatemala.
